Exceptionally high class.. Food was amazing and the service was second to none. Can't wait to return. What a spot!

When you get tired of fancy and prefer quality with a touch of class, visit Sam Vera. Driven past it a thousand times but this was our first visit. Excellent experience all around. Greeted and seated by the owner. Bread, a complimentary antipast and our martinis in short order, including the blue cheese olives we like so much. We ate simple - Caesar salad, zuppe di clams and almond crusted halibut. All were finely prepared and lightly seasoned so that the mild flavors in the fresh ingredients could be enjoyed. Even the accompanying veggies were delicious. Topped it all off with some espresso and ricotta cheesecake (the only REAL kind) which was also of high quality. Friendly and professional service by the bartender, waiter and bussers added to the experience. We will be returning soon to try other dishes on the extensive menu and look forward to more seafood specials! Thank You! 1/26/25 Update: Another fantastic seafood meal! This time Canadian oysters on the half...creamy and delicious. For the main, swordfish livornaise. Top notch! Will return again fo' sho'

Quiet place.. very romantic. Food was delicious. Don't forget to get the appetizers, fried calamari was amazing, delicious sauce, food was also amazing. Parking not a issue at all, on premises. Definitely recommend reservations especially on a busy weekend

Excellent food, classy restaurant and amazing service! Hands down the best restaurant in NJ!

We have been going to SamVera for a long time. We go there for family celebrations. They are all friendly and out going. We have known Steve and family for many years

Delicious food (red snapper and veal saltimbocca), friendly wait staff and comfortable atmosphere. A very satisfying experience.

We had the best time here celebrating my daughter's birthday in the upper room! Becco and staff made my daughter's event magical. Food was delicious and my guests had a fantastic evening. Thank You!

A dear friend of mine knows the owner and has been raving about this place for years. I tried it out for the first time a few months ago and it was very good. The food is delicious and fresh, staff are attentive. The atmosphere is great for a date but just a heads up that the volume gets pretty up there, very authentic upscale Italian.
